Molly Cook is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, trained in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) by Jon Fredrickson and treats attachment disorders.
Molly has trained with Dr. Patrick Carnes, Pia Mellody, Dr. Claudia Black, and Dr. Stefanie Carnes. Mrs. Cook has worked for The Meadows, Gentle Path at The Meadows, Remuda Ranch center for Eating Disorders, Gatehouse Academy, and Sober Way in-patient treatment centers, helping clients to address their trauma and addiction (process and substance) issues.
Mrs. Cook’s goals for therapy include finding out as much as possible about a client’s life and relationships through the assessment process and then utilizing the most efficient and engaging method available to effect change.
Goals for services include providing a safe and supportive place for a client to express their psychological trauma, grief, ask questions, express difficulties, address alcohol or drug issues, and heal relationship issues for patients who are seeking relief from their problems that they are facing on a daily basis.
